The holidays are a time to give love, as well as a time to appreciate and be thankful for all of the good things in life. Your dance students will depart for the holidays with a big hug and a token of their appreciation for you . Do you ever wonder what you could give to them in return for the holidays? Clearly, your hard work and encouraging words are a gift during each class, but have you felt like you have wanted to do something extra-special for the holidays?
Buying a gift for each one of your students is financially out of the question — but how about an idea that would be a gesture of love to your students (and those who support your business) as well as something that would be good on a community-wide or global scale?
This year, consider giving a donation to a local food bank, toy drive, or to a charitable organization. Make a large sign to hang on a holiday tree at the studio, or in a prominent place on the wall that says that you have made a donation to that organization on behalf of all of the students at your school, to thank them for being wonderful students! In addition to spreading good cheer, you may also inspire others to do the same!
Happy Holidays! |
